Unrelenting in pursuing its vision of ‘Health for All, Smiles for All’, GNRC Hospitals conducted a knowledge-enriching Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on ‘Current Trends in General Surgery’, at GNRC Dispur on 18th of May. The event was organized in association with Assam Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India. It was attended by over 100 General Surgeons, apart from General Practitioners. Dr. Amarjyoti Choudhury, former Vice-Chancellor of Gauhati University & former Pro-Vice Chancellor of Tezpur University graced the event as the Chief Guest. Five national speakers of repute graced the event and highlighted the current trends in general surgery and its importance. The speakers included Dr. Winston Noronha, Dr. Shalabh Kumar, Dr. N. N. Das, Dr. Deborshi Sharma, Dr. Vinay Shaw.
