In a historic move, Guwahati based GNRC Hospitals signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Singapore General Hospital at its Dispur unit today. This strategic collaboration between the two premier healthcare groups is expected to benefit the people living in Assam and North Eastern states to a great extent in terms of availing world class healthcare facilities without going out of the region.

GNRC Signs MoU with Singapore Hospital

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Nomal Chandra Borah, chairman of GNRC Hospitals said, “The agreement is expected to lead to a productive exchange of information, knowledge and skill of the doctors, Nurses, Therapists and other ancillary services of the Hospital. This collaboration will help both the participating healthcare groups to co-manage patients with complex medical conditions.” The delegation from Singapore included Professor V Anantharaman, Senior consultant, department of emergency medicine; Dr. Lim Swee Hia, Senior Director, advanced Nursing; Professor Celia Ia Choo Tan, Director, Allied Health and Mrs. Vijaya Sreenidhi Rao, Senior Director, Business Development. A CME on Emergency Medical Services was also held along with the MoU signing ceremony where experts from both the hospitals deliberated.
